What does the word “emerge” awaken in you? An emergence from the pandemic? From the effects of the hurricane? What are you emerging into?

Last month we began with a labyrinth walk and then used a writing and painting process on black canvas; this time we will continue our exploration of the theme using the Art as a Healing Practice model. This will include nature-witnessing, guided meditation, visual art, intermodal explorations, writing and witnessing. 

We will have a few basic supplies to share, and/or you can bring your own. We also invite you to bring something from nature that speaks to you of the theme of ’emerge’ or ’emergence’. This could be a natural object or a photo. 

We encourage pre-registration.. If we have space, we will accept walk-in registrations.

Workshop location: First Congregational Church at 1031 S Euclid Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237 in Room 9. Please follow the signs after you pull in to the parking lot.
