The wisdom and lessons of the natural world are everywhere, and we are a part of that world. Our creativity brings us into alignment with that natural wisdom.
Join us for an afternoon of engaging with the natural world, contemplative inquiry, art-making, moving, writing, witnessing and sharing.
Anticipate some time outdoors, a guided meditation, engaging with intermodal arts, and sharing in circle. Expect to come away with a powerful message or lesson that you can take into your life in a meaningful way.
Take some time, in a circle of loving creative community, to reflect and appreciate yourself, and what you bring into the world through your own hands and heart.
No art or expressive arts experience is necessary.
Bring any art supplies you would like to work with, and a journal or notebook. We will have some basic supplies on hand as well.
We encourage pre-registration. If we have space, we will accept walk-in registrations.
Workshop location: First Congregational Church at 1031 S Euclid Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237 in Room 9. Please follow the signs after you pull in to the parking lot.
We are Kathleen and Tamara, co-founders of Expressive Arts Florida Institute. We have been co-facilitating and co-teaching together for twelve years and are excited to bring new, fun in-person workshop opportunities to our community both locally and online. Together we have over fifty years experience working with expressive arts in multiple ways. It our passion and our honor to share this pathway to inner wisdom with others.
