In this Level 2 course, EAFI 220: Expressive Arts in the World: Populations, Practices, and Settings, be inspired by guest presenters from around the world, as you expand your view of the practice and possibilities of Expressive Arts!

If you are registered in EAFI 220 (Expressive Arts in the World) your tuition includes these requirements:

  • Six of the workshops that are offered by professionals in the field who are practicing all over the world (students may register for 8 with tuition and use 2 for elective credit)
  • You will stay 30 minutes after each workshop to meet with EAFI faculty and other EAFI 220 students, for additional process and discussion.
  • A single 5-hour closing session with EAFI faculty and EAFI 220 students (October 14, 12-5 pm est)
  • An online forum 
  • A visual arts process.

As part of the course, you will:

  • Meet, learn from, and work with leading practitioners throughout the world – who utilize expressive arts in a wide variety of settings.
  • Participate in Zoom video sessions, and multi-media presentations that will introduce you to some dynamic expressive arts applications with a range of populations and age groups.
  • Experience examples of consultant/educator work, expressive arts therapy, healthcare, education, end-of-life, community- building, social change, and more.
  • And, engage in your own expressive arts process, assimilating what you are learning into a visual art piece, and further developing your own approach. 
  • Have the choice of an additional 2 sessions of your choice included in your tuition
