Dive in to Expressive Arts (EAFI 110) is a Level 1 course in the Certificate Training Program and an opportunity to renew your creative connection!

EAFI 110 Intermodal Intensive. This core course, which we have come to call Dive-In to Expressive Arts – is just that – a deep dive into intermodal expressive arts and a gift to yourself. The essence of expressive arts is the way it weaves different modalities together – visual art-making, rhythm, movement, poetry, sound, drama, journaling, and more. It is, essentially, a process of remembering something that was likely once natural. Children don’t distinguish between different art forms, but rather move from one to the other, as if they are following an invisible thread of creative expression. How does your painting move? What is the rhythm of that gesture? The voice of that image? How would that movement translate into color? By becoming fluent in intermodal process we deepen our own holistic practice and become attuned to how to work with others.

  • Immerse yourself into Expressive Arts process, including visual art, sound, music, movement, drama, writing, and guided meditation.
  • In a safe and supportive retreat atmosphere, set an intention and follow the thread of your own creative process and imagery through a series of guided experiences.
  • Experiential in nature, this course is a great introduction to the power of intermodal expressive arts. It is a gift to yourself!
  • If you have taken this workshop before, you are welcome to return, as each time you do it, your experience will inform and enrich your life now.

Personal Benefits:

  • Reconnect with the wisdom of your creativity
  • Create the space and time to listen deeply to your inner self and to the wise light of your creativity
  • Discover a safe, accepting, and expertly guided community of seekers

This program has forever changed my life. It has taken me to new places and opportunities I never thought possible. I have turned an emotionally draining job into a passion that was re-ignited. I have turned from hidden-artist to artist. This is about discovering who you really are.
