Calling all Creatives! In this new workshop, you will be guided through a simple bookmaking technique to create your own unique container for creative personal exploration, growth, and transformation. You will be able to customize the process to make it your own as you create the space and place for your ongoing personal practice. Having a personal expressive arts practice involves creating images, writing, witnessing, and reflecting. Making a special place to go that holds the artifacts and helps you look back on what you have created has become part of our practice and we invite you to share this with us.
We will guide you through each step as you create a simple book from your own visual artmaking. You will leave with an art journal ready to fill with your summer adventures and experiences.
No art or expressive arts experience is necessary. Supplies will be included, but you are welcome to bring favorite supplies too.

Workshop location: First Congregational Church at 1031 S Euclid Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237 in Room 9. Please follow the signs after you pull in to the parking lot.
We are Kathleen and Tamara, co-founders of Expressive Arts Florida Institute. We have been co-facilitating and co-teaching together for twelve years and are excited to bring new, fun in-person workshop opportunities to our community both locally and online. Together we have over fifty years experience working with expressive arts in multiple ways. It our passion and our honor to share this pathway to inner wisdom with others.
