Connect. Create. Rejuvenate. Atelier Eirene designs EXA workshops and retreats, classes for groups and individuals that promote mindfulness, inter-and intra-personal awareness, and well-being for mind, body and spirit. As an exhibiting artist and writer, I create from a creative studio in NYC and the Greek Cyclades in the summer. I use the versatile, fluid medium of “encaustic,” an ancient technique that uses molten beeswax and pigment to create on a porous surface. I focus on tailored embodied experiences to promote positive psychological effects on participants. I employ mythic archetypes to help participants connect to the power in universal stories to provide psychic insight. Mostly I try to have fun with my clients and have them focus on the moment. “Get out of your head, get into your hands (and heart).”

I have spent many years researching and studying metaphysics, crystal and Reiki energy. I have been a Reiki practitioner for 16 years and have recently become certified in Crystal Sound Bath Healing. I combine energy work and intermodal expressive arts into my own personal practice. I am grounded in the belief that each person has the innate ability to heal themselves on a mental, emotional and cellular level. With this in mind, I design and facilitate workshops that integrate the expressive arts, Reiki, and Sound healing for the empowerment and well being of my participants.

Sunny offers virtual and in-person creative workshops and community art events. Her gatherings often explore the nature of being human and being a human in natureⓒ. She believes we are our own guides, healers and teachers, and offers contemplative creative spaces for harnessing understanding, wisdom, healing and other powerful inner resources.
Like everything else in the vast and extraordinary Universe, we are in the process of unfolding, expanding and evolving. The innate wildness of our inner terrain is always available to us for exploration. We just need moments to fill our lungs with fresh air and sink into a safe sacred space to center and ground ourselves. In the moments that follow we remember who we really are…
Sunny is completing her MA in Transpersonal Psychology. Her research focuses on the realm of creativity at the intersections of art, nature, dreams and spirituality.
